What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, phone number, postcode, email address if you give it, the service you need and anything you tell us about the job.
- Jobs: the address of the property, access arrangements, details of the electrical installation and the work done, photos of the installation, test results, certificates and reports.
- Payments: invoices and payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, and we do not store full card details.
- Website security: when you send an enquiry, our website records your IP address and the time, so that we can block spam and abuse.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and give you an estimate: steps you have asked us to take before entering a contract.
- To carry out and invoice the work: performing our contract with you.
- To issue certificates and notify building control of notifiable work: our legal obligations.
- To keep business and tax records, and handle complaints or claims: our legal obligations and legitimate interests.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
- Our registration body (NICEIC) and building control, when we notify work or issue certificates.
- Our accountants, bank, payment provider and insurers, where needed.
- Our website host, our email provider for enquiries sent through the website, and Google if you accept analytics cookies.
- Others where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
Some of these providers may store information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as adequacy regulations or approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 12 months.
